We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager HR Generalist to drive end-to-end HR operations for the business. The role will be responsible for partnering with business leaders and outlet teams to strengthen employee engagement, manpower productivity, retention, performance management, HR compliance and overall employee experience.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in hospitality, restaurants, QSR, retail or other high-volume frontline environments and should be comfortable managing a geographically distributed workforce.

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Business Partnering

- Partner with Operations and business leaders to understand manpower and people requirements.
- Act as the primary HR point of contact for assigned business functions/outlets.
- Drive HR initiatives aligned with business objectives.
- Provide data-driven insights on manpower, attrition, productivity and employee cost.
- Conduct regular outlet/business reviews with stakeholders.

1. Employee Relations

- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters and conflict resolution.
- Ensure effective communication between employees, managers and HR.
- Drive a positive employee experience across outlets.
- Conduct employee interaction and engagement sessions.
- Identify employee relations risks and recommend corrective actions.

1. Manpower Planning & Workforce Management

- Partner with Operations on manpower planning and budgeting.
- Monitor sanctioned strength, vacancies, hiring requirements and productivity.
- Analyse manpower cost and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Track joining, attrition, absenteeism and employee movement.
- Support business expansion and new outlet openings from an HR perspective.

1. Performance Management

- Drive the performance management cycle across assigned teams.
- Ensure timely goal setting,



reviews and performance discussions.
- Support managers in performance improvement plans.
- Identify high-potential employees and support succession planning.
- Develop and implement performance-driven people practices.

1. Talent Acquisition & Retention

- Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to close critical positions.
- Identify recurring hiring challenges and build sustainable talent pipelines.
- Drive retention initiatives for frontline and managerial employees.
- Analyse attrition trends and develop outlet-specific retention plans.
- Support internal mobility and career progression initiatives.

1. HR Operations & Compliance

- Ensure effective implementation of HR policies and processes.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Monitor employee documentation, attendance, leave and HR records.
- Coordinate with Payroll and HR Operations teams for accurate payroll processing.
- Ensure timely completion of joining, transfer, exit and other HR processes.

1. Employee Engagement & Culture

- Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives.
- Drive recognition and reward programs.
- Support HR communication and employee-connect initiatives.
- Promote a strong service culture and employee-centric work environment.
- Conduct regular employee feedback and pulse checks.

1. HR Analytics & Reporting

- Prepare and analyse HR dashboards and MIS.

- Track key metrics including





- Attrition
- Hiring & joining

- Vacancy/TAT

- Absenteeism

- Manpower productivity

- Employee cost

- Retention

- Engagement
- Present actionable insights to senior management.

Candidate Profile
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent qualification.
- 8–12 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in hospitality, restaurants, QSR, retail, FMCG or other high-volume operations.
- Strong experience in HR generalist/HRBP roles.
- Excellent understanding of employee relations and HR operations.
- Hands-on experience managing frontline and managerial employees.
- Strong knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-location workplace.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and HRMS/HRIS systems.

Preferred Experience Candidates from Hospitality, QSR, Restaurant, Food & Beverage, Retail, Hotels or other high-volume service industries will be preferred.
