We are building a highly scalable, technology-first financial infrastructure platform and are looking for engineers who enjoy solving complex problems and building production-grade systems.

Role OverviewWe are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer with 5+ years of experience, with mandatory experience in Fintech / Financial Services / Lending / Wealthtech.

This is a hands-on engineering role for a hardcore coder who can independently design, build, integrate, debug and scale complex applications.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in API architecture, API management, writing and consuming APIs, backend systems, databases and modern frontend development.

You will work extensively with Lark's technology stack and use AI coding tools such as Claude Code and OpenAI Codex as part of your development workflow.

This is not a low-code / no-code or purely supervisory role. We are looking for someone who loves writing code and solving engineering problems.

Key Responsibilities

1. Full Stack Development

- Design, develop and maintain scalable full-stack applications.
- Build high-performance backend services and modern frontend applications.
- Develop reusable, modular and maintainable components.
- Write clean, production-grade and well-tested code.
- Participate in architecture and technology decisions.
- Own features from architecture → development → testing → deployment → monitoring.

2. API Engineering & ManagementA strong understanding of APIs is a core requirement for this role.

- Design and develop robust REST APIs.
- Consume and integrate third-party APIs.
- Build APIs for Lark's internal and external partners.
- Design API authentication, authorization, rate limiting and security.
- Develop API integrations with lenders, RTAs, depositories, wealth platforms and fintech partners.
- Handle webhooks, callbacks and asynchronous API workflows.
- Design versioning and backward-compatible APIs.
- Implement API logging, monitoring and error handling.
- Troubleshoot complex integration and API issues.
- Contribute to Lark's API-first architecture and developer platform.

3. Fintech IntegrationsWork on complex integrations across the financial ecosystem, including:

- Lending partners
- NBFCs / Banks
- Mutual Fund RTAs
- CAMS / KFintech
- NSDL / CDSL
- Wealth platforms
- Stock brokers
- Payment and identity services
- Credit and financial data providers

Understanding financial transaction flows, authentication, consent, reconciliation and data integrity will be important. 4. Backend Engineering

- Build scalable backend services and business logic.
- Design complex workflows and orchestration engines.




- Develop transaction processing systems.
- Implement authentication, authorization and RBAC.
- Build event-driven and asynchronous workflows where required.
- Design robust error handling and retry mechanisms.
- Optimize application performance and database queries.
- Build secure and reliable systems for financial transactions.

5. Database & Data Architecture

- Design and optimize relational databases.
- Develop complex SQL queries.
- Design efficient schemas and data models.
- Implement indexing and query optimization.
- Handle transactional consistency and data integrity.
- Work with NoSQL / caching technologies where appropriate.
- Design data structures capable of supporting high-volume financial transactions.

6. Frontend Development

- Build responsive and high-performance web applications.
- Develop reusable frontend components.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs.
- Implement secure authentication and authorization flows.
- Build dashboards and operational interfaces for partners and internal teams.
- Focus on performance, usability and maintainability.

7. AI-Assisted Software DevelopmentLark is an AI-first engineering organization.

The candidate should be highly comfortable using AI coding tools to improve development speed and quality.

- Code refactoring
- Test generation

The expectation is not simply to use AI for generating code, but to understand how to direct, review, test and validate AI-generated code. You should be able to work effectively with large existing codebases using AI coding agents while maintaining engineering quality and security.

- Ensure proper logging, monitoring and auditability.

- Write robust code capable of handling edge cases and failures.

10. Engineering Excellence

- Write clean, readable and maintainable code.
- Conduct code reviews.
- Write unit and integration tests.
- Maintain technical documentation.
- Participate in architecture discussions.
- Identify technical debt and proactively resolve it.
- Improve development processes and engineering productivity.
- Mentor junior developers where required.

Mandatory Requirements

- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Mandatory Fintech / Financial Services / Lending / Wealthtech experience.
- Strong full-stack development experience.
- Strong expertise in API development and API integration.
- Proven experience in both writing and consuming APIs.
- Strong backend development skills.
- Strong database and SQL knowledge.
- Strong frontend development experience.
- Experience with third-party integrations.
- Solid debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent understanding of software architecture.
- Strong Git and version-control practices.
- Hands-on experience with Claude Code and/or OpenAI Codex.
- Ability to work independently and take complete ownership of engineering tasks.
