Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst – Tech Cloud Finance

About the Team The Tech Cloud Strategic Analytics team enables the global finance community to unlock new insights from cloud data. We help teams understand customer behavior, automate reporting solutions, and develop the financial processes and policies that support Oracle’s Cloud business.
Working at the intersection of finance, data, and technology, the team builds trusted reporting, scalable data models, and actionable analytics supporting OCI, North America, and LAD.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to support Tech Cloud Finance operations through executive reporting, financial analysis, KPI tracking, backlog and consumption reporting, and quarter-end close support.
This role is ideal for a finance analytics professional who can turn complex financial and operational data into clear, decision-ready insights. You will work closely with finance, operations, engineering, sales, and business stakeholders to improve reporting quality, drive automation, and strengthen visibility into business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver accurate, timely executive reporting for Tech Cloud Finance stakeholders.
- Analyze financial and operational performance to identify trends, variances, risks, opportunities, and actionable insights.
- Track, validate, and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Prepare and maintain backlog and consumption reporting, ensuring consistent definitions and high data quality.
- Support quarter-end close through reporting, data validation, issue identification, and coordination with finance partners.
- Manage recurring and ad hoc reporting requirements in a high-volume, time-sensitive setting.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs, resolve data issues, and provide timely business support.
- Maintain robust reporting controls and investigate discrepancies where required.
- Improve reporting processes through standardization, automation, data visualization, and Power Query.
- Apply foundational AI knowledge to identify opportunities for smarter finance reporting, analysis, and process improvement.
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in financial reporting and analytics.
- Strong financial analysis, business-performance reporting, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience supporting executive reporting, KPI reporting, and quarter-end close activities.
- Ability to translate complex financial and operational data into concise, decision-relevant insights.
- Proven ability to manage multiple recurring and time-sensitive deliverables with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong business judgment, stakeholder management, written communication,
and presentation skills.
- Process-improvement mindset focused on efficiency, standardization, and automation.
- Basic understanding of AI operations and potential applications in finance, reporting, or analytics workflows.
- Ability to work with data from multiple financial and operational sources.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Oracle or another large, complex enterprise environment.
- Hands-on experience with CORE and/or EPM platforms.
- Experience building finance dashboards, management reports, and data visualizations.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience using Power Query for data transformation, reconciliation, or reporting automation.
- Experience automating recurring finance or analytics processes.
- Familiarity with cloud finance, OCI, business-performance metrics, backlog reporting, or consumption reporting.
- Practical experience with AI-enabled finance, analytics, or reporting tools.
