Role Description The Senior Engineering Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata/Bangalore. This role oversees multiple engineering teams, providing technical leadership, mentoring, and performance management to ensure delivery of high-quality Voice AI solutions. The person in this position collaborates with product, data science, and operations teams to define requirements, plan projects, and align engineering roadmaps with business goals.

Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding software design and architecture decisions, reviewing code, managing integration efforts, and ensuring timely execution of projects and releases.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated expertise in Engineering Management and Team Leadership, including mentoring, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong background in Software Development, with hands-on experience in building scalable, reliable systems and working with contemporary development frameworks.
- Proficiency in Project Management, including planning, prioritization, risk management, and delivery of complex technical initiatives.
- Experience with system Integration, API design, and coordinating efforts across distributed services or platforms.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience leading engineering teams in AI, SaaS, or enterprise software environments is highly beneficial.
- Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, microservices, and secure, high-availability architectures.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Track record of establishing engineering best practices, including code quality, testing, and CI/CD.
