Roles and Responsibilities
- Process improvement and optimization in cell and module plant (TOPCon, TOPCon+, Perovskite-Si tandem etc.).
- Bring about operational excellence through cell and module performance improvement projects.
- Assess new materials, new equipment, enhancement ideas for cost saving, efficiency improvement, better throughput or reduced downtime
- Evaluate current products and processes by conducting trials in the plant and field
- Work closely with process, quality, maintenance and manufacturing teams.
- Support scale-up of lab innovations to pilot and mass production.
Educational Qualification &
- Desired Experience
- MS/ MTech in Energy Science and Engineering / Material Science and Engineering / Chemical Engineering / Electrical Engineering from a renowned institute
- Required 1-3 year industrial experience in solar cell manufacturing
- Must have experience in cell processing (diffusion, CVD, PVD, screen printing).
- Must understand cell architecture and device level functioning.
- Must understand module material characterization
- Knowledgeable on cell and module performance and long-term reliability
- Good understanding of cell and module technologies, various BoM and their impact on performance
- Must be interested in learning about advanced technologies and supporting various research projects
