We are hiring a Senior Endpoint Security Engineer to act as the go-to Trend Micro EDR expert for enterprise client engagements, assessing endpoint protection coverage, tuning detection modules, and continuously improving detection effectiveness across the endpoint estate.

Role Details:

Location: India (Remote / Project-Based)

Travel: Required onsite at Gulf client locations as needed

Notice Period: Immediate to 30 days max

Experience: 8-12 years

Required Certifications:

- Trend Micro Certified Professional
- Any EDR / endpoint security related certification

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess Trend Micro EDR module
- Identify coverage gaps, misconfigurations, & under-utilized detection capabilities
- Design, implement, and continuously fine-tune EDR policies to maximize detection effectiveness
- Validate detection & response effectiveness through testing & simulation
- Reduce false positives through policy tuning without compromising detection coverage
- Advise client and internal stakeholders on Trend Micro EDR best practices and roadmap
- Support endpoint-level incident investigation and response as needed
- Document policy configurations, tuning rationale, & exceptions for ongoing operations

Required Platform Experience:

1. EDR Platform: Trend Micro Apex One / Vision One (mandatory)
2. Modules: Behavior Monitoring, Application Control, Endpoint Sensor, Predictive Machine Learning
3. Other EDR (advantageous): CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint,



SentinelOne

Desired Skills:

- SME-level, hands-on expertise across Trend Micro EDR modules and policy configuration
- Strong understanding of endpoint attack techniques and detection engineering
- Application control / allow-listing design and tuning
- Behaviour monitoring and predictive ML detection tuning
- Endpoint-level incident response and investigation
- Experience of deploying cloud application security agents & deploying container-based security agents
- Track record of building strong detection use-cases
- Working knowledge of Windows and Linux endpoint environments
- Understanding of false-positive analysis and detection efficacy validation

Good to Have (Not Mandatory):

- Integration of EDR with SIEM/SOAR platforms
- Basic malware analysis and threat hunting experience
- Scripting for policy validation and automation (PowerShell/Python)
- Experience advising enterprise clients directly on endpoint security posture

Soft Skills Required:

- Ability to act as an independent SME and advisor to client stakeholders
- Strong documentation and policy-rationale write-up skills
- Comfortable working remotely with periodic onsite travel, including Gulf client locations
- Willingness to learn adjacent endpoint security technologies
