We are hiring a Senior OCI / Cloud Security Engineer to design, implement, & continuously improve security controls across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure environment. Covering infrastructure, Kubernetes/container workloads, & the DevSecOps pipeline. This is a hands-on cloud infrastructure and security engineering role for someone equally comfortable operating OCI directly and securing modern, cloud-native architectures.

Role Details:

Location: India (Remote / Project-Based)

Travel: Required onsite at Gulf client locations as needed

Notice Period: Immediate to 30 days max

Experience: 8-12 years

Required Certifications:

- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Professional / Associate (mandatory)
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator / Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist
- HashiCorp Vault Associate
- OSCP / CISSP (advantageous)

Key Responsibilities:

- Design & implement Infrastructure-as-Code & network security baseline controls
- Provision, configure, & operationally support OCI infrastructure, including manual/console-level administration where needed
- Harden Kubernetes clusters & embed security controls into CI/CD pipelines
- Implement & manage service mesh security
- Deploy & manage secrets management solutions
- Implement policy-as-code guardrails & runtime threat detection
- Integrate image scanning, DAST, & security gates into CI/CD pipelines
- Design and implement API security controls
- Continuously validate cloud security posture & establish ongoing compliance monitoring
- Document architecture, controls,



& configurations for internal teams and client stakeholders

Required Platform Experience:

1. Cloud Platform: OCI - Compute, Networking, IAM, OKE (mandatory)
2. Container / Mesh: Kubernetes (OKE), Istio
3. CI/CD: GitLab CI, Argo CD
4. Security Tooling: HashiCorp Vault, OPA/Kyverno, Falco
5. IaC: Terraform or OCI Resource Manager

Desired Skills:

- Solid, hands-on understanding of OCI from an infrastructure perspective
- Production-grade Kubernetes & service mesh implementation & troubleshooting
- Cloud-native security practices: mTLS/workload identity, secrets management, policy-as-code, runtime detection
- DevSecOps practices: embedding scanning & security gates into CI/CD pipelines
- API security: OAuth2/OIDC, mTLS, and related standards
- Cloud network segmentation and security group design
- Strong knowledge of container security & pod-level security controls
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure segmentation & security controls
- Experience with Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools & practices

Good to Have (Not Mandatory):

- Exposure to additional cloud platforms (Huawei)
- Banking, fintech, or Open Banking domain experience
- CKA/CKS certification

Soft Skills Required:

- Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management
- Ability to work independently across remote and onsite engagements
- Excellent documentation and handover abilities
- Willingness to travel for onsite work at Gulf client locations
