Role Description The Senior Admissions Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in India, responsible for guiding prospective students and healthcare professionals through the entire admissions and overseas education process. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting one-on-one counselling sessions, understanding individual goals, recommending suitable countries, programs, and institutions, and explaining admission requirements and timelines. The role involves managing application workflows, reviewing documentation for completeness and accuracy, coordinating with universities and partner institutions,



and tracking application status to ensure timely submissions.

The counselor will provide detailed information on visa procedures, language requirements, and licensing pathways, while maintaining accurate records in CRM or admissions systems. Additional tasks include participating in seminars and information sessions, supporting marketing and outreach initiatives, responding to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver a consistent and high-quality client experience.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Communication and Communication skills to conduct effective counselling sessions and explain complex processes clearly.
- Candidates should possess proven Customer Service skills to manage inquiries, build trust, and deliver a supportive experience throughout the admissions journey.
- Candidates should possess Sales skills to convert leads into applications, meet enrolment targets, and promote suitable programs and destinations ethically.
- Candidates should possess Education-related experience or understanding of overseas education systems, admissions processes, and academic pathways.
- Relevant skills and qualifications include a bachelor’s degree (preferably in Education, Counseling, Management, or a related field), proficiency in English and at least one regional language, strong organizational and time-management skills, and familiarity with CRM or admissions management tools.
- Prior experience in overseas education consultancy, university admissions, or healthcare career counselling is highly beneficial, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a high-volume, target-driven setting.
