TGT Science Teacher

Job Summary

Bharathidhasanar Group of Schools is looking for a dedicated and experienced TGT Science Teacher to teach middle and secondary school students. The candidate should have strong subject knowledge and the ability to make Science engaging through practical, activity-based, and technology-supported learning.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach Science for assigned classes as per the prescribed curriculum.
- Prepare effective lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
- Teach concepts in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Environmental Science as applicable to the grade level.
- Prepare students effectively for CBSE/State Board examinations.
- Conduct experiments, demonstrations, projects, and practical activities.
- Conduct regular tests and evaluate student performance.
- Provide additional academic support to slow learners and academically challenged students.
- Use smart classrooms, digital resources, models, laboratory activities, and innovative teaching methods.
- Develop students' scientific thinking, observation, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Maintain accurate attendance, marks, lesson records, and student progress reports.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, school events, and academic activities.




- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with the academic team to improve student learning outcomes.

Eligibility & Skills
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Science or relevant subject.
- B.Ed. is mandatory.
- Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the Science curriculum.
- Excellent communication and classroom-management skills.
- Good knowledge of laboratory activities and practical-based learning.
- Ability to use digital teaching tools and smart classroom technology.
- Student-centred approach with strong interpersonal skills.
- Preference will be given to Tamil Nadu candidates.
