Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site SEO Specialist position based in Parrys, Chennai .

The SEO Specialist will be responsible for managing and executing day-to-day SEO activities across multiple websites while coordinating and organizing the work of SEO team members. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on SEO expertise and the ability to assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure SEO activities are completed efficiently.

Key responsibilities include keyword research, SEO audits, on-page optimization, technical SEO coordination, internal linking, content optimization, and ethical link-building. The role also involves monitoring website performance, analyzing search data, preparing SEO reports, and implementing strategies to improve rankings, traffic, and conversions.

The candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of coordinating with content, design, and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are consistently implemented across all websites.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and execute SEO strategies across multiple websites
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and SEO audits




- Optimize on-page SEO elements including metadata, internal linking, content structure, and technical improvements
- Implement ethical link-building and off-page SEO strategies
- Monitor website performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console
- Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, and conversion performance
- Prepare SEO performance reports and provide actionable recommendations
- Coordinate and organize SEO tasks among team members
- Review completed SEO work and ensure quality standards are maintained
- Coordinate with content, design, and development teams
- Stay updated with search engine algorithm changes and SEO best practices

Qualifications

- Minimum 2 years of hands-on SEO experience
- Strong expertise in Keyword Research and On-Page SEO , including metadata optimization, internal linking, and content structuring
- Experience conducting comprehensive SEO Audits and identifying technical, content, and structural SEO issues
- Proficiency in Link Building , backlink analysis, outreach, and ethical off-page optimization
- Hands-on experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz , or similar SEO tools
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, PHP, and website architecture
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, reporting, and organizational skills
- Ability to coordinate SEO activities and manage multiple ongoing tasks
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
