We are looking for an experienced SAP Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP ILM, Data Archiving, Retention Management, and Data Retrieval, with hands-on experience in implementing and supporting SAP data lifecycle solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Configure and support SAP ILM solutions across SAP landscapes.
Design and implement data archiving strategies and retention policies.
Manage archiving objects and ensure compliance with business and regulatory requirements.
Configure retention rules, legal holds, and data destruction processes.
Support data retrieval and archive access requirements.
Collaborate with business, Basis, security, and functional teams on ILM initiatives.
Participate in system decommissioning and legacy data management projects.
Perform analysis, testing, documentation, and knowledge transfer activities.
Troubleshoot and resolve SAP ILM and archiving-related issues.
Required Skills
5-10 years of SAP experience with a strong focus on SAP ILM.
Hands-on experience with:
SAP Information Lifecycle Management (ILM)
SAP Data Archiving
Retention Management
Archiving Objects
Data Retrieval and Archive Administration
Knowledge of GDPR, compliance, and data retention policies.
Experience in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with system decommissioning projects.
Understanding of SAP Basis and security concepts.
Exposure to OpenText or other enterprise archiving solutions.
SAP ILM or related SAP certifications preferred.
