Title: SAP Ariba Guided Buying

Location: India

Duration: 12+ Months (Contract)

Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP Ariba Consultant with strong expertise in Ariba Guided Buying (GB) and Ariba Buying and Invoicing (B&I;) to support global procurement transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate should have participated in at least one or two end-to-end SAP Ariba Guided Buying implementation and possess deep functional knowledge of downstream procurement processes, catalog management, buying channels, invoicing, and integration with ERP systems.

The candidate will work closely with procurement, business, and technical teams to design, configure, implement, and support SAP Ariba solutions while driving best practices across Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and support SAP Ariba implementations with a focus on Guided Buying.
- Participate in all phases of project delivery, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare support.
- Configure and optimize Guided Buying policies, buying channels, forms, approvals, and user experience .
- Design and support Ariba Buying and Invoicing processes including requisitioning, ordering, receiving, invoicing, and exception handling.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand procurement requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
- Prepare and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), configuration documents, and test scripts .
- Support integration activities between SAP Ariba, CIG and SAP ERP/S4HANA systems.
- Facilitate workshops, solution demonstrations, and user training sessions.
- Participate in Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, and production support activities.
- Collaborate with technical, integration,



and master data teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
- Provide guidance on procurement best practices and SAP Ariba standard capabilities.

Required Skills & Experience

- 8 to 10+ years of overall procurement system implementation experience with 7+ years of SAP Ariba experience .
- Proven experience in at least one full-cycle SAP Ariba Guided Buying implementation .
- Robust hands-on experience in:
- SAP Ariba Guided Buying
- SAP Ariba Buying and Invoicing
- Catalog Management
- Buying Channels
- Approval Workflows
- Requisition-to-Pay Processes
- Experience configuring and supporting Ariba downstream procurement solutions .
- Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) business processes.
- Experience working with business users and procurement stakeholders in global environments.
- Knowledge of SAP Ariba integration with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA .
- Experience in testing, defect management, and production support.
- Good functional knowledge of SAP MM (Materials Management) .
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Procurement processes.
- Understanding of procurement master data and catalog enablement.
