Omalco Extrusions is looking for a Sales Engineer with experience in B2B/industrial sales. Candidates who have previously worked in the aluminium extrusion industry will be strongly preferred. Experience in selling other aluminium products, profiles, systems, or fabricated aluminium products will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

- Generate new business opportunities for aluminium extrusion products.
- Identify and approach potential customers across industries such as Solar, Construction, Architecture, Doors & Windows, Automotive, Electrical, Engineering, Furniture and other industrial sectors.
- Understand customer requirements, drawings, applications, quantities, alloys, tolerances and commercial requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with OEMs, fabricators, distributors, contractors, procurement teams and industrial buyers.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms and follow up until order closure.
- Coordinate with production, die development, quality, dispatch and management teams for smooth execution of orders.
- Regularly follow up on enquiries, samples, quotations, orders, payments and future requirements.
- Conduct customer visits and participate in exhibitions and business-development activities.
- Maintain proper records of leads, quotations, opportunities and the overall sales pipeline.
- Provide regular sales reports, competitor intelligence and market feedback to management.

Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of sales/business-development experience.
- Previous experience in the aluminium extrusion industry is strongly preferred.
- Candidates with experience selling aluminium profiles,



aluminium systems, architectural aluminium, fabricated aluminium products or other aluminium products may also apply.
- Strong written and spoken English is required.
- Positive communication, negotiation, presentation and relationship-management skills.
- Strong understanding of B2B and industrial sales.
- Ability to develop new customers instead of relying only on incoming enquiries.
- Comfortable interacting with engineers, procurement teams, fabricators, contractors, dealers and business owners.
- Ability to understand technical drawings and specifications will be an advantage.
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings and business development.
- Self-driven and comfortable working against sales targets.

EducationDiploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Civil, Metallurgy or a related engineering discipline is preferred.

Candidates with strong relevant sales experience in the aluminium industry may also be considered irrespective of engineering specialization.

The role requires prospecting, customer visits, understanding technical requirements, preparing commercial proposals, negotiating and converting opportunities into long-term repeat business.
