TheRolling Stock Design Engineerwill be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing rolling stock systems for metro projects. This role requires a skilled with a strong engineering background, hands-on experience in rolling stock design, and a focus on ensuring safety, reliability, and operational efficiency. The candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions that meet project requirements and international standards.
1. Design Development
- Develop detailed designs for rolling stock systems, including mechanical, electrical, and structural components.
- Ensure designs meet project specifications, operational requirements, and international standards.
- System Integration
- Coordinate the integration of rolling stock systems with other metro subsystems, such as signaling, tracks, and power supply.
- Address technical challenges related to system compatibility and performance optimization.
- Technical Review Validation
- Review and validate design documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct simulations and analyses to test system performance, reliability, and safety.
- Compliance Standards
- Ensure rolling stock designs comply with international standards, such as EN, IEC, and ISO.
- Monitor regulatory changes and adapt designs accordingly.
- Project Coordination
- Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of rolling stock design activities.
- Provide technical support during procurement, manufacturing, testing, and commissioning phases.
- Quality Assurance
- Implement quality control measures to ensure designs meet the highest standards of reliability and safety.
- Conduct inspections and audits to identify and address design-related issues.
- Performance Optimization
- Analyze rolling stock performance data and implement design improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce lifecycle costs.
- Develop innovative solutions to address operational challenges and improve passenger experience.
Qualifications
- Graduate degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics or related field).
Additional Information
- Minimum10 years of total professional experience, with at least4 years of relevant experience in metro projectsfocused on rolling stock design.
- Proven expertise in designing and developing rolling stock systems for large-scale metro projects.
