Role Description The Revenue Management Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based at IIHM in Siliguri. This role involves monitoring and analyzing room and course-related revenue performance, forecasting demand, and recommending pricing and inventory strategies to optimize revenue.

The specialist will track key performance indicators, prepare regular reports, and collaborate with sales, finance, and academic teams to align revenue plans with institutional goals. Daily responsibilities include analyzing market trends, competitor performance, and booking patterns,



supporting promotional strategies, and ensuring accurate implementation of rate plans and policies. The role also requires clear communication of insights and recommendations to management and proactive identification of opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency.

Qualifications

- Solid Analytical Skills and the ability to interpret data, trends, and KPIs for actionable revenue decisions.
- Proficiency in Revenue Management, including pricing, demand forecasting, and inventory optimization.
- Solid understanding of Finance principles related to budgeting, revenue reporting, and profitability analysis.
- Effective Communication skills for presenting insights, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and influencing decisions.
- Sales awareness and experience supporting or coordinating sales initiatives to drive occupancy and enrollment.
- Experience with revenue management tools, spreadsheets, and reporting software; advanced Excel skills are an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Finance, or a related field; relevant certifications in revenue management are beneficial.
- Prior experience in hospitality, education, or related service industries in a revenue or pricing-focused role is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Siliguri, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accuracy under time constraints.
