Monica Sarin Foundation is looking for an experienced and passionate Retail Trainer to train and prepare students for successful careers in the retail industry.
? Position: Retail Trainer
? Location: Hauz Khas, New Delhi
? Experience: 3–5 years in Retail
? Employment: Full-time | On-site
? Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging retail training sessions for students
- Teach retail operations, customer service, sales, product knowledge, and store management
- Conduct classroom, practical, activity-based, and role-play sessions
- Develop lesson plans, training materials, activities, and assessments
- Identify learning gaps and provide individual coaching and feedback
- Prepare students for retail jobs, interviews, and workplace expectations
- Conduct mock interviews and practical simulations to build job-ready skills
- Monitor student attendance, participation, learning progress, and performance
- Maintain training records, assessments, and student progress reports
- Support students in developing professional communication, grooming,
and workplace behaviour
- Stay updated with current retail industry practices and incorporate them into training
✅ Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in Retail, preferably in retail operations, training, or management
- Robust training, facilitation, and presentation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge of retail operations and customer service
- Ability to engage and motivate students from diverse backgrounds
- Good coaching and mentoring skills
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Diploma/Degree in Retail Management, Business, Training, or a related field is preferred
- Passion for student development, skill building, and social impact
