Role Summary:

We are looking for a hands-on Refinery Head / Production Head to lead end-to-end operations for a gold refinery. The role requires strong experience in precious metal refining, production planning, process discipline, purity management, recovery, wastage control, compliance, and team leadership.

This is a full-time operating role, for someone who can own daily refinery execution, strengthen floor discipline, improve output quality, and bring sharper systems around production, documentation, safety, and process governance.

The larger mandate is to help upgrade refinery operations to match institutional expectations and internationally followed refining practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end refinery operations, including production planning, refining, melting, assay coordination, inventory movement, and dispatch readiness.
- Ensure strong control over recovery, wastage, process losses, purity, throughput, and overall operating efficiency.
- Drive daily production discipline across manpower planning, floor supervision, shift-level accountability, and SOP adherence.
- Strengthen quality systems, documentation standards, process checks, and reporting discipline across the refinery.
- Work closely with lab, quality, compliance, accounts, logistics, and management teams for smooth refinery operations.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, statutory requirements, internal controls, and operational risk standards.
- Identify and implement process improvements to reduce losses, improve turnaround time, and enhance scalability.
- Monitor production metrics, recovery performance, inventory movement, process deviations, and operational exceptions.
- Build a high-accountability refinery team across supervisors, technicians,



workers, and support functions.
- Work with management to steadily upgrade refinery practices in line with global precious metal refining benchmarks.

Ideal Candidate:

- Relevant experience in gold refining / precious metals / bullion / jewellery manufacturing / metal processing.
- Strong understanding of gold refining processes, recovery, purity, melting, assay coordination, inventory control, and production discipline.
- Prior experience in a refinery, bullion house, precious metals company, or large manufacturing setup preferred.
- Exposure to structured quality systems, audit processes, traceability norms, and international precious metal refining practices will be preferred.
- Must be execution-oriented, detail-driven, and comfortable working on the refinery floor.
- Should be able to manage workers, supervisors, technicians, lab coordination, and senior management expectations.
- Strong ability to create discipline around SOPs, documentation, reporting, and accountability.
