Role Description The Quantity Surveyor / Draftsman is a full-time, on-site role based in India. The role involves preparing detailed drawings and plans for steel structures and sports infrastructure projects using relevant CAD software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with design standards.

Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and preparation of bills of quantities, as well as supporting budgeting and tender documentation. The professional will coordinate with engineers, architects, and project managers to clarify specifications, resolve design discrepancies,



and update drawings based on site conditions or design changes. The role also requires maintaining organized documentation, adhering to safety and quality standards, and contributing to efficient project execution and timely delivery.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust drafting skills using CAD software, with experience in structural and architectural drawings.
- Candidates should possess quantity surveying skills, including quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and preparation of bills of quantities.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of construction materials, steel structures, and sports infrastructure standards.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and documentation.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in commercial or residential construction projects, especially involving steel structures, is an advantage.
- Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and sustainable construction practices in India is beneficial.
