Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experiencedQuantity Surveyorwith 810 years of skilled experience in the aviation sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in cost estimation, quantity verification, and contract management for airside and landsideworks.

This role requiresexpertisein preparing and managing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost monitoring, and contractor evaluations, ensuring compliance with airport authoritystandardsand delivering cost-effective solutions for phased airport development projects.

Roles Responsibilities

- Prepare and verifyBills of Quantities (BOQs)for airside and landside works, including runways, taxiways, aprons, utilities, buildings, and supporting infrastructure.
- Develop and review BOQs, cost estimates, rate analyses, and tender documentation aligned with airport authority standards.




- Evaluate contractor bids, conduct cost comparisons, and support negotiation processes.
- Prepare contract award recommendations based on thorough analysis and cost evaluations.
- Monitor project costs during design and construction phases, track variations/claims, and prepare cost reports, cash-flow forecasts, and change management documentation.
- Ensureaccuratetracking of project expenses and adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Collaborate with engineering teams tovalidatedesign quantities, resolve scope gaps, and ensureaccuratecost planning for phased airport development.
- Provide technical inputs to ensure alignment between design and cost planning.
- Review contractor invoices, certify payments, and assess claims with proper documentation.
- Support dispute resolution processes by providingaccurateand detailed records.

Qualifications

- Diploma,Graduate, orPostgraduatedegree inEngineering.
- 810 years of professional experience, with mandatoryexpertiseinaviation sectorprojects.
- Strong knowledge of BOQs, cost estimation, and contract management.

Additional Information

- Proficiencyin cost estimation software, MS Excel, and project management tools.
- Strong analytical skills to ensure accuracy in cost planning and documentation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with contractors, project teams, and stakeholders.
- Ability to address cost-related challenges and provide innovative solutions.
- Familiarity with airport authority standards and regulations for cost estimation and tendering.
