About the Role

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with 1+ years of experience in software testing and UI automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test cases, identifying and troubleshooting defects, automating test scenarios, and ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Create and execute test plans and test cases independently for straightforward testing scenarios, seeking guidance for complex or challenging situations.
- Perform test case enumeration, execution, validation, and documentation with a high level of accuracy.
- Troubleshoot issues, isolate bugs, identify recurring defect patterns, and actively participate in defect triage and prioritization.
- Develop and maintain automated test cases using Java, Selenium, Playwright, and other relevant UI automation tools.
- Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, automation efficiency, and overall testing processes.
- Ensure test execution is completed accurately and within defined timelines.
- Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of test cases, test results, defects, and testing activities.
- Handle test data and related information in accordance with organizational security and data-handling policies.
- Identify, document,



and escalate potential security risks through appropriate channels.
- Provide daily reports on test execution status and results, including defects, blockers, and outstanding activities.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, product teams, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure product quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 1+ years of experience in Software Testing / QA.
- Hands-on experience with Java and UI test automation.
- Strong experience with Selenium and/or Playwright.
- Good understanding of functional, regression, integration, and UI testing concepts.
- Ability to write, execute, and maintain detailed test cases.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of defect life cycle, defect reporting, and triage processes.
- Good attention to detail with a strong focus on test accuracy and coverage.
- Familiarity with test automation frameworks and best practices.
- Positive documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently on assigned testing activities and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with CI/CD tools and integration of automated tests into build pipelines.
- Knowledge of Git and version-control practices.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Exposure to API testing and basic SQL/database validation.
- Experience working with test management and defect-tracking tools.
