Acies is looking for a Python Developer to contribute to the development of a next-generation no-code Regulatory Reporting platform. The role involves working on data transformation, mapping, and validation across multi-layered data architectures, building scalable ETL pipelines, and ensuring high data accuracy and integrity.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Python (Pandas, NumPy), working with large and complex datasets, and be comfortable applying data validation and reconciliation techniques. This role requires solid data engineering fundamentals and the ability to operate in a quick-paced, product-focused environment.

Key responsibility areas:

- Work on end-to-end ETL processes, including requirements understanding, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of regulatory reporting data pipelines.
- Build scalable data processing modules using Python (Pandas, NumPy) to handle large and complex financial datasets.
- Develop configurable ETL components that can be reused within the no-code platform.
- Implement data validation, reconciliation,



and audit mechanisms to ensure regulatory compliance and traceability.
- Perform data mapping between product data models and client datasets, identifying gaps, inconsistencies, and edge-case scenarios.
- Implement data quality checks, validation scripts, and reconciliation processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity, including post-migration validation.
- Analyse and handle data quality and validation scenarios during discussions related to client datasets.
- Perform data profiling, validation, and quality assessment to ensure readiness and correctness of data.
- Optimize ETL pipelines for performance, scalability, and efficiency across multi-layered data architecture.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including ETL mappings, design specifications, validation logic, and troubleshooting guides.
- Use Python and/or Shell scripting for data processing, automation, and workflow optimization
