Qualification: Any Degree (Technical Background Preferred)
Job Responsibilities
- Identify and procure raw materials, components, and other requirements as per production needs.
- Obtain quotations from vendors and compare prices, quality, and delivery schedules.
- Negotiate with suppliers for the best commercial terms.
- Prepare and process purchase orders and follow up on deliveries.
- Maintain vendor database and develop recent suppliers.
- Coordinate with production, stores, and accounts departments for procurement activities.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of materials.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
- Track pending orders and resolve supply-related issues.
- Maintain accurate purchase records and documentation.
Requirements
- Any Technical Degree/Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- 1–3 years of experience in purchasing/procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or home appliances industry.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of vendor management and purchase processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple departments.
