:

Job Summary: The Service Engineer is responsible for providing technical support and services to customers, ensuring the proper installation, maintenance, repair, and operation of equipment or systems. They will also troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues, delivering excellent customer service and ensuring equipment functionality.

Key Responsibilities

Project Engineering & Coordination:

- Assist in defining project scope, technical requirements, and execution strategy.
- Interface with discipline engineers, contractors, vendors, and regulatory bodies to align technical and commercial deliverables.
- Review and approve engineering documents
- Support in front-end engineering designdetailed engineering, and construction phases.
- Ensure constructability and operability of engineering designs.

Technical & Site Support:

- Provide engineering support during construction, commissioning, and start-up phases.
- Monitor installation and ensure compliance with engineering designs and international codes
- Resolve technical queries and change requests in a timely manner.
- Liaise between engineering and field teams to clarify design intent and resolve discrepancies

Project Planning, Cost, and Schedule Control:

- Prepare and maintain project schedules in coordination with planning teams.
- Track project progress and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Support the development of project budgets and monitor cost performance throughout the lifecycle.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation measures.

Procurement and Vendor Coordination:





- Assist in the preparation of technical bid evaluations and vendor selection.
- Review vendor documents, equipment specifications, and inspection test plans.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment as per project timelines.

Compliance, Quality & HSE:

- Ensure all engineering activities adhere to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards and project-specific safety plans.
- Implement quality control procedures in design and execution phases.
- Support in auditsand safety reviews.
- Ensure compliance with national and international standards and regulatory requirements.

Documentation & Reporting:

- Maintain complete and accurate project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and submit periodic project progress reports, engineering logs, and construction reports.
- Participate in lessons-learned and project close-out reviews.

Skills and Qualifications:

Education:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Mechanical, Relevant certifications or training in the specific equipment or systems you service Robust understanding of quality management systems.

Experience:

- experience in Oil, gas, petrochemical, or energy-related projects
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.

Work Environment & Conditions:

- Hybrid of office and field/site work.
- Regular travel to job sites and client meetings may be required.
- May involve extended work hours during project milestones.
