Role Description The Programming Instructor will deliver engaging, structured lessons in programming to learners at various skill levels in an on-site classroom environment in Chennai. This full-time role involves preparing lesson plans and course materials, explaining programming concepts clearly, guiding learners through coding exercises, and supervising practical projects and assessments. The instructor will provide individual and group support, offer constructive feedback on assignments, and help learners troubleshoot code and develop problem-solving approaches.

Additional responsibilities include updating content to reflect current industry practices, collaborating with colleagues on curriculum improvements, maintaining accurate learner records, and participating in institute events, workshops, or mentoring activities.

Qualifications





- Candidates should possess robust proficiency in at least one high-level programming language (such as Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript) and solid understanding of core programming concepts (data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming).
- Candidates should possess skills in developing and delivering clear instructional content, including lesson planning, curriculum structuring, and the ability to present complex technical topics in an accessible manner.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to provide constructive feedback, support diverse learning styles, and foster an inclusive classroom environment.
- Candidates should possess practical experience with software development practices, such as version control (e.g., Git), debugging, and basic software engineering principles relevant to entry-level learners.
- Candidates should possess strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to manage multiple batches or courses, track learner progress, and meet academic schedules and deadlines.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in programming and teaching, is preferred.
