Job Brief

We are seeking a skilled Production Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations. You will manage workflows, train and coach personnel, and optimize daily production processes to ensure maximum quality and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

- Production Scheduling: Plan, organize, and assign daily/weekly tasks to shift workers to meet or exceed production targets and deadlines.

- Quality Control: Monitor production outputs to verify they meet exact specifications; address and resolve quality-related issues or product defects.

- Team Management: Lead, train, and mentor staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Evaluate performance and provide constructive feedback.

- Safety & Compliance: Implement and enforce health and safety protocols to ensure a hazard-free work environment.

- Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate regular equipment and machinery inspections, and work with maintenance staff to ensure timely repairs.





- Resource Management: Manage inventory levels of raw materials and coordinate with supply chain or materials teams to prevent production shortages.

- Reporting: Analyze production metrics and data to identify trends, reduce waste, and report progress to senior management.

Requirements

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Management, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

- Experience: 2-4 years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing or production environment, including at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.

- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to delegate tasks, motivate teams, and resolve conflicts in a fast-paced workplace.

- Technical Proficiency: Experience with lean manufacturing methodologies (e.g., 5S, Six Sigma) and proficiency with ERP/production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, walk the manufacturing floor frequently, and lift up to 25 kg when necessary.
