Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Production Chemist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have 4–5 years of relevant experience in production/manufacturing operations, with strong knowledge of production processes, quality standards, documentation, and safety practices.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth production operations while maintaining product quality, process efficiency, safety, and compliance with applicable industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and monitor day-to-day production activities to ensure smooth and timely operations.
- Ensure production processes are carried out as per SOPs, batch manufacturing records, and established standards.
- Monitor manufacturing processes and identify deviations or process-related issues.
- Coordinate with QA, QC, Engineering, Warehouse, and other departments to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Maintain accurate production records, batch documentation, and other required reports.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, hygiene, and quality requirements.
- Monitor raw material usage, production output, and process efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, waste reduction, and productivity enhancement.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and usage of chemicals/raw materials as per safety guidelines.
- Investigate production-related issues and support corrective and preventive actions.




- Ensure adherence to workplace safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Support audits, inspections, and other compliance activities when required.
- Supervise and guide production operators/technicians as required.

Eligibility

Educational Qualification:

- B.Sc. in Biotechnology
- M.Sc. in Biotechnology
- B.Pharm
- Other relevant qualifications in Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or Life Sciences may also be considered.

Experience:

- 4–5 years of relevant experience in Production, Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Chemical, or related industries.
- Candidates with hands-on experience in production operations and batch manufacturing processes will be preferred.
