We need someone who understands spices the way a sommelier understands wine — sourcing, quality, seasonality, and the farmers behind them — and who can turn that knowledge into a procurement engine that never lets us run dry. Onsite, Pune (Hadapsar) Work timings: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM | Alternate Saturdays off

What You Will Own

- Own end-to-end procurement of spices and raw materials, from sourcing to delivery at the plant
- Identify, evaluate and onboard new vendors, farmers, FPOs and SHGs for consistent, quality supply
- Negotiate pricing,



contracts and payment terms to optimise cost without compromising quality
- Monitor spice quality at the point of procurement, working closely with the quality team on specs and standards
- Track market prices, seasonality and crop cycles to plan procurement proactively and avoid shortages
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with farmers, FPOs, SHGs and trusted suppliers
- Coordinate with production and inventory teams to align procurement with demand forecasts
- Maintain procurement records, vendor documentation and cost trackers
- Identify cost-saving and process-improvement opportunities across the procurement cycle

What We Are Looking For

Education

Bachelor's degree in Food technology, Supply Chain, Agriculture, Business Administration or a related field

Experience

1–3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing or vendor management, ideally in spices, agri-commodities, FMCG or food processing

Technical Skills

- Strong understanding of spice sourcing, quality parameters and seasonality
- Experience negotiating with vendors, farmers, FPOs or SHGs
- Comfortable working with cost sheets, purchase orders and vendor documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ERP experience is a plus

Stakeholder Management & Communication

- Strong relationship-building skills with farmers, vendors and internal teams
- Clear communicator, comfortable negotiating and resolving disputes
