Role Description The Plumbing Design Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Pune City. The individual in this role will design and develop plumbing systems for building projects, including water supply, drainage, and related services, in alignment with project requirements and applicable codes.

Responsibilities include preparing design calculations, layouts, and schematics; coordinating plumbing designs with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) teams; and ensuring integration with overall building services. The role involves reviewing drawings,



conducting technical evaluations, supporting project execution, and collaborating with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to resolve design issues.

The Plumbing Design

Engineer will also participate in site visits, inspections, and quality checks to verify installation compliance with approved designs.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Plumbing and Plumbing Design for building projects.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Water Supply systems and related distribution design.
- Candidates should possess experience with Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) coordination.
- Candidates should possess understanding of Building Services, including integration of plumbing within overall building systems.
- Working knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations related to plumbing and building services.
- Proficiency in design and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit or similar) and basic MS Office skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary project teams.
