As the General Manager - Operations, you are responsible for overseeing and optimizing the operational functions of the Company. You play a critical role in ensuring the efficient production, quality control, labour management and timely delivery of our technical textile products, while driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Strategic Planning: Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.

Production Management: Oversee all aspects of production processes, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and adherence to production schedules.

Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain robust quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of product quality and consistency.

Supply Chain Management: Manage the end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics, to ensure timely availability of raw materials and finished products.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancement,
implementing best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership and direction to the operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and employee development.

Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a protected working environment for all employees.

Education needed
Masters in Engineering or similar

Work Experience needed
Minimum 12 years of experience in a mid-sized geosynthetic textile manufacturing company, having first hand knowledge of production, processes and quality assurance.
