Job Title: Phlebotomist

Location: Bandra West / Santacruz, Mumbai

Athena Lifeline is looking for experienced and certified Phlebotomists to join our pathology team at our Bandra and Santacruz sample collection branches.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform safe and accurate blood sample collection from patients.
- Conduct home visits and field collections when required.
- Participate in neighborhood health camps and blood collection camps organized by Athena Lifeline.
- Properly label, handle, store and prepare samples for transportation.
- Verify patient details and test requirements before sample collection.
- Follow correct venipuncture, infection-control and hygiene protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of samples collected.
- Provide professional, polite and reassuring service to patients.
- Coordinate with the laboratory and branch team for timely sample processing.
- Follow all laboratory SOPs and quality standards.

Requirements

- Phlebotomy certification is mandatory.
- Relevant MLT / DMLT qualification or certified Phlebotomy course preferred.




- Previous phlebotomy experience is mandatory.
- Strong venipuncture and blood collection skills.
- Comfortable performing home collections and field visits.
- Must be willing to work at community camps, residential societies, corporate camps and other outreach locations when assigned.
- Sales will be a major part of this role.
- Valuable communication and patient-handling skills.
- Knowledge of sample handling, labeling and transportation procedures.
- Punctual, responsible and well-groomed.
- Candidates familiar with the Bandra west and Santacruz east areas will be preferred.
