Role & responsibilities

- Design and analyze PEB structures including main frames, rafters, columns, bracings, purlins, girts, and connection details.
- Prepare structural calculations and ensure designs meet required strength, stability, serviceability, and deflection criteria.
- Develop and review GA drawings, fabrication/shop drawings, erection drawings, and connection details.
- Use structural design software such as STAAD.Pro, Tekla Structures, MBS/PEB software, AutoCAD, or equivalent.
- Select suitable sections, materials, connections, and member sizes based on design requirements.
- Coordinate with fabrication, production, estimation, procurement, and site/erection teams.
- Resolve technical issues arising during fabrication and erection.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant standards such as IS 800, IS 875, IS 1893, MBMA/AISC/ASCE, as applicable to the project.
- Prepare design reports, calculation sheets, material specifications, and engineering documentation.
- Incorporate client/consultant comments and complete revisions within project timelines.
