About the Role :

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer (SDET) to own and scale automation across our web, backend, mobile, and AI-driven workflows.

This is a hands-on automation engineering role, not a manual testing role. You will work with engineering teams to build reliable test automation, improve coverage, integrate tests into CI/CD, and identify issues before they reach production.

What You'll Do :

- Build and maintain end-to-end Playwright automation for web applications.
- Build and maintain mobile automation for Android/iOS using Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, or equivalent tools.
- Develop automated tests for REST/GraphQL APIs and validate backend data using SQL.
- Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines and maintain reliable test execution.
- Identify and fix flaky tests and improve automation reliability.
- Use AI coding assistants such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools for test authoring, debugging, and test-data generation.
- Work with engineering teams to improve testability and catch issues early.
- Contribute to testing AI/LLM-driven features, where outputs may not always be deterministic.

Must Have :





- 6 - 8 years of experience in QA/SDET or test automation roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright mandatory.
- Hands-on experience with mobile test automation mandatory.
- Strong experience in API/backend automation using REST or GraphQL.
- Valuable understanding of SQL and database validation.
- Strong programming and automation skills.
- Experience with CI/CD automation.
- Practical experience using AI coding assistants such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar.
- Ability to independently own automation initiatives.

Good to Have :

- Experience testing AI/LLM, chatbot, conversational AI, or voice bot products.
- Langfuse or similar LLM observability tools.
- Datadog or similar APM/monitoring tools.
- GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD tools.
- k6, JMeter, or other performance testing tools.

Not a Fit If :

- Your experience is primarily in manual testing.
- You have limited hands-on coding/automation experience.
- You don't have practical Playwright experience.
- You don't have mobile automation experience.
- You have only executed test cases on an existing framework without meaningful automation ownership.
