About the Role

Blessing Softtech is looking for a Mobile App Developer to build and ship production applications for iOS and Android. You will own features end to end — from technical design through implementation, store release, and post-launch monitoring — working alongside designers, backend engineers, and product managers.

We are stack-flexible: solid candidates from Flutter, React Native, or native iOS/Android backgrounds are all welcome. What matters is that you have shipped real apps to the stores, understand mobile-specific constraints, and write code that other people can maintain.

Key Responsibilities

Development & Delivery

- Build, test, and release cross-platform or native mobile applications from requirement to production.
- Translate UI/UX designs into pixel-accurate, responsive screens that behave correctly across device sizes and OS versions.
- Integrate REST and GraphQL APIs, handle authentication, and manage offline and error states gracefully.
- Implement local storage, caching, and background sync where the product needs to work on poor connectivity.
- Integrate third-party SDKs — push notifications, payments, maps, analytics, crash reporting, and social login.

Code Quality & Architecture

- Write clean, modular, well-documented code following an agreed architecture pattern (MVVM, BLoC, Clean Architecture, or similar).
- Apply sound state management practices and keep business logic separated from UI.




- Write unit and widget/component tests, and participate in code reviews.
- Profile and optimise app performance — startup time, frame rendering, memory, battery, and app size.

Release & Operations

- Manage builds, signing, versioning, and submissions to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
- Handle store review feedback and policy compliance, including privacy declarations and permissions.
- Monitor crashes and production issues via Firebase Crashlytics or equivalent, and turn them around quickly.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and distribution (Codemagic, Fastlane, Bitrise, or GitHub Actions).

Collaboration

- Work closely with designers to validate feasibility early and flag edge cases before build.
- Coordinate with backend engineers on API contracts, payload shape, and versioning.
- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Document technical decisions and share knowledge across the team.

Required Qualifications

- 3–5 years of professional mobile development experience with apps live on the App Store or Play Store.
- Strong proficiency in at least one of: Flutter/Dart, React Native/TypeScript, Swift/SwiftUI, or Kotlin/Jetpack Compose.
- Solid grasp of object-oriented programming, async programming, and mobile application lifecycle.




- Experience consuming REST or GraphQL APIs and handling JSON serialisation, pagination, and error handling.
- Working knowledge of state management (Provider, Riverpod, BLoC, Redux, MobX, or equivalent).
- Proficiency with Git and branching workflows.
- Experience with Firebase services — authentication, Firestore or Realtime Database, Cloud Messaging, Analytics, Crashlytics.
- Familiarity with app store submission, review guidelines, and release management.
- Understanding of mobile security basics — secure storage, token handling, certificate pinning, obfuscation.
- Ability to debug using native tooling (Xcode Instruments, Android Studio Profiler, Flutter DevTools).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred / Valuable to Have

- Experience across more than one stack (e.g. Flutter plus some native Kotlin or Swift).
- Writing platform channels or native modules to bridge into device capabilities.
- Experience with offline-first architectures and conflict resolution.
- In-app purchases, subscriptions, or payment gateway integration (Razorpay, Stripe, Google/Apple billing).
- Automated UI testing (Appium, Detox, Flutter integration tests, XCTest, Espresso).
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and localisation for multiple languages.
- Exposure to backend work — Node.js, Python, or Firebase Cloud Functions.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum and tools like Jira and Confluence.
- An active GitHub profile or published apps you can walk us through.
