We’re Hiring: App Engineer (0–2 Yrs Exp) @ Fluxton

At Fluxton, we build edge-enabled infrastructure for the physical world—starting with EV charging. We combine real-time communication, autonomous decision-making, and seamless cloud-edge synchronisation.

We’re looking for a skilled and driven App Engineer to build mobile experiences that connect users with EV charging infrastructure. You’ll work on applications used to discover chargers, start and manage charging sessions, make payments, track usage, and interact with connected infrastructure in real time.

What You’ll Do

1. Design and build cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android.
2. Build smooth, responsive, production-ready interfaces using React Native or similar frameworks.
3. Implement real-time app features using WebSockets, REST, and GraphQL APIs.
4. Integrate authentication, payments, maps/location services, push notifications, and other native mobile capabilities.
5. Handle app state, caching, network failures, and unreliable connectivity gracefully.
6. Work directly with the founding and engineering teams to take features from concept to production.
7. Ship, monitor, debug, and maintain applications on the App Store and Google Play Store.

Must-Haves
1. Experience: 0–2 years of hands-on experience building mobile applications.
2. Core Tech: JavaScript / TypeScript and React Native, Flutter, or similar cross-platform mobile frameworks.
3.



Strong understanding of mobile application architecture, state management, and component-driven development.
4. Experience integrating REST / GraphQL APIs and WebSockets.
5. Familiarity with authentication, secure credential/token storage, and role-based access.
6. Experience with Git and modern development workflows.
7. Robust debugging and problem-solving skills, with a product-first mindset.
8. Understanding of iOS and Android application lifecycles and platform-specific behaviour.

Good to Have
- Experience publishing apps to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
- Push notifications and deep linking.
- Maps, geolocation, and background location services.
- Payment gateway / UPI integration.
- Offline-first applications and local persistence.
- Native Android/iOS integrations or bridging.
- Experience with IoT, EV charging, mobility, or other connected-device applications.
