About the company

We are a Jaipur-based export house for hand block printed home textiles from Rajasthan's artisan clusters in Sanganer and Bagru. We supply bed linen, cushion covers, table linen, throws and other home textiles to B2B buyers across the Middle East, UK, Europe, USA and Australia.

The role The Merchandiser cum QC is the product and supply-side spine of the business. It is a hands-on, on-site role based in Jaipur, working across the artisan clusters. You will:

- Vet and shortlist reliable printing and processing units in Sanganer, Bagru and nearby clusters.
- Curate a tight capsule from suppliers' existing block libraries, tuned to premium overseas buyers.
- Coordinate sampling and chase the units until samples match the brief.
- Run pre-shipment quality control: colour consistency, print registration, GSM, fastness and defects. This is the most significant part of the job.




- Negotiate trade rates, MOQs and sampling costs.
- Provide accurate per-SKU costing for export pricing.
- Follow production through to a dispatch-ready shipment.

What we are looking for

- 3+ years in a Jaipur block-print or textile export house as a merchandiser, QC or sourcing executive.
- Strong, specific quality-control judgement, especially on print and finishing.
- Existing relationships with printing and dyeing units in Sanganer, Bagru and Salawas.
- A clear sense of what overseas home-textile buyers reject and why.
- Fluent Hindi and working English.

Engagement

Open to starting on a per-project or retainer basis, growing into a full-time role as order flow builds.
