– Tender & Costing Manager / Engineer (MEPF)

Position: Tender & Costing Manager / Engineer – MEPF

Key Responsibilities

- Review tender documents, drawings, technical specifications, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) to accurately identify project scope and requirements.
- Prepare and submit project understandings, pre-bid queries, attend the prebid meetings and coordinate with clients/consultants for clarifications.
- Prepare capability presentations, technical submissions, and commercial bid documents in line with tender requirements.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for MEPF systems based on tender drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
- Perform quantity take-offs and calculate material quantities from drawings and technical documents.
- Prepare price estimation based on BOQs and submit techno-commercial offers to Team lead for further review and submission to customers within timelines.
- Conduct cost analysis and evaluate alternative materials/methodologies to optimize project costs and improve bid competitiveness.
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for quotations, technical compliance, and commercial negotiations.
- Maintain strong knowledge of vendor base, market trends, and price discovery for major MEPF materials and equipment.
- Analyze project risks, inclusions, exclusions, and assumptions during bid preparation.
- Support management during bid finalization, negotiations, and post-tender clarifications.
- Ensure compliance with company standards,



client specifications, and contractual requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Diploma/B.E / B. Tech in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience in MEPF tendering, estimation, and costing for commercial, Data centre, Healthcare, or large infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and ELV systems.
- Ability to interpret tender drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
- Good knowledge of vendor management, subcontractor coordination, price analysis, and market trends for MEPF materials and equipment.
- Strong understanding of vendor base, sourcing strategies, and price discovery to achieve competitive project costing..
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software/tools.
- Ability to work under tight bid submission timelines.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in handling large-scale MEPF projects like commercial fitout projects, Healthcare, Data Centre, and semiconductor industry.
- Exposure to EPC/MEP contracting environment.
- Familiarity with rate analysis, value engineering, and procurement coordination.

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹125,000.00 per month
