Role Description The Master Mason role at Sri Sai Constructions is a full-time, on-site position based in Ballia.

The Master

Mason will oversee and perform advanced masonry work, including laying bricks, blocks, and stones, preparing and applying cement and mortar, and ensuring structural integrity and alignment of walls and other constructions. This role involves reading and interpreting construction drawings, planning daily work activities, supervising masonry helpers, and coordinating with site engineers and other trades to meet project timelines and quality standards.

Mason will inspect completed work for accuracy and durability, carry out repair and renovation tasks as needed, and adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures. The position requires consistent on-site presence to manage masonry operations and support successful delivery of infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in masonry and brickwork, including laying, aligning, and finishing structural and non-structural elements.
- Candidates should possess practical knowledge of cement and mortar preparation, mixing ratios, and application techniques for different construction needs.
- Candidates should possess experience in stonework, including cutting, shaping, and installing stone for structural and decorative purposes.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in renovation work, including repair, restoration, and reinforcement of existing masonry structures.
- Proven experience as a Master Mason or senior mason in building or infrastructure projects, preferably with contractors or construction firms.
- Ability to read and interpret basic construction drawings, site plans, and measurements, with strong attention to detail and quality.
- Knowledge of construction-site safety practices and willingness to follow all safety guidelines and regulations.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, work in outdoor and varying site conditions, and handle masonry tools and equipment safely.
- Good teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other site workers.
