Summary

We are seeking a safety-minded, hands-on Chemical Warehouse &

- Logistics Manager to oversee our chemical storage facility and lead our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for strict regulatory compliance, inventory accuracy, daily logistics and liaising with local authorities. You will split your time between high-level compliance management and active, hands-on warehouse operations (including receipt & dispatch of the material).

Key Responsibilities

- Safety &
- Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure 100% compliance of Safety regulations. Maintain up-to-date Safety Data Sheets for every chemical stored on-site, oversee proper hazard class segregation, and manage spill containment and emergency response readiness.

- Hands-on Operations: Actively participate in daily warehouse tasks including receiving shipments, picking orders, staging chemical drums, and ensure timely loading of the transport vehicles. Fill in actively on the warehouse floor during peak hours or team absences. Inspect material -handling equipment for time-to-time maintenance. Liaising with local authorities like Police, Municipal bodies etc.

- Team Leadership: Supervise, schedule, and cross-train a warehouse crew. Conduct regular safety briefings and emergency response drills.



Promote workplace productivity and track performance metrics

- Inventory &

- Systems Management:

Track stock levels, and oversee cycle counts. Ensure all materials are accurately logged and labelled. Also, ensure balanced daily workloads between the team members for quick dispatch times.

- Logistics &

- Freight:

Coordinate inbound and outbound shipping schedules. Able to prepare dispatch documents like Invoice, E-Way bill etc., and proper vehicle placarding. Negotiate rates and contracts with freight carriers. Resolve transit delays, cargo damages, or routing bottlenecks.

Qualifications &

- Skills

- Any Graduate or a degree in supply chain.

- Total 58 years’ experience in warehouse & logistics with at least 2-3 years’ experience in handling chemicals or hazardous materials & at least 2-3 years’ experience in managing staff and daily operations.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with proven experience in supervising or leading a team in a fast-paced setting.

- Self-driven, professional, and result-oriented.

- Proficiency with SAP &
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook etc).
