Parag Milk Foods is an Indian company that manufactures, markets and sells milk and milk products. The company is India's second largest producer of cheese under its brand Go Cheese and the country's largest producer of cow ghee under its brand Gowardhan.

Job Purpose:-

To oversee Modern Trade and E-commerce commercial function in the Company ensuring efficient and timely validation and settlement of claims, ensuring credit hygiene of channel partners and timely reconciliation of accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Claims: Ensure in-depth understanding of pricing and claims calculation, validation mechanisms and timely settlement of different types of claims under different models of Up-to-date Trade/ E-commerce/ Quick commerce operations
2. Accounts receivables: Manage and monitor accounts receivables by tracking payments and ensuring timely collections
3. Credit control management: Manage and monitor the credit policies by assessing customer creditworthiness, setting credit limits, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding
4. Reconciliation of accounts:



Ensuring timely reconciliation of accounts with various parties to ensure there are no pending claims to be settled
5. Liaising with Supply Chain: Liaising with logistics teams to ensure any debits pertaining to shortages/ rate differences, etc are settled on a timely basis
6. Co-ordination with Sales team: Regular co-ordination with Sales teams to ensure smooth billing and ensuring timely receivables collection
7. Invoice Clearing: Supervise team in correctly clearing and knocking off invoices
8. Channel margins: Ensure correct margins are mapped for the respective channel partners.
9. Analysis to ensure correct claim settlement: Conduct various analysis on primary/ secondary/ tertiary sales to ensure no excess claims are settled/ there are no errors in claims settlement
10. Setting SOPs: Establish SOPs for different commercial arrangements to ensure there are no leakages.
