- Intern - Logistics

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Intern to support the day-to-day operations of our ecommerce logistics function. The role will involve coordinating with courier partners, tracking shipments, monitoring delivery performance, supporting NDR/RTO management, and ensuring timely closure of operational issues.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to understand ecommerce operations, last-mile delivery, courier performance, and customer delivery experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Track daily shipment movement, pickup status, delivery status, and delayed orders.
- Coordinate with courier partners for pickup delays, delivery escalations, NDR cases, and RTO-related issues.
- Support the logistics team in monitoring courier-wise performance, including pickup TAT, delivery TAT, breach orders, NDR%, and RTO%.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports on logistics performance, pending shipments, courier escalations, and ageing orders.
- Assist in identifying delayed shipments and proactively escalate them to the relevant courier partner.
- Support NDR calling coordination and follow-up for failed delivery attempts.
- Help validate courier remarks, delivery exceptions, fake attempts, and customer complaints related to delivery.
- Maintain trackers for open escalations, courier follow-ups, and closure timelines.
- Coordinate internally with customer support, warehouse, and operations teams for shipment-related issues.
- Assist in courier partner performance reviews by collecting data and preparing basic analysis.
- Support cost and billing validation wherever required, including shipment count, weight discrepancies, and courier charges.
- Help in process documentation, SOP creation, and improvement of logistics workflows.
- Identify repeated logistics issues and share observations with the team for process improvement.

Required Skills

- Basic understanding of ecommerce operations or logistics is preferred.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets.




- Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with data, trackers, and operational reports.
- Attention to detail and ability to identify gaps.
- Comfortable coordinating with internal teams and external courier partners.
- Ownership mindset and willingness to learn in a fast-paced setting.

Good to Have

- Prior internship experience in ecommerce, logistics, operations, or supply chain.
- Basic understanding of courier operations, NDR, RTO, COD, SLA, and last-mile delivery.
- Familiarity with tools like Shiprocket, ClickPost, Unicommerce, Vinculum, or courier dashboards.
- Basic analytical skills to identify patterns in delays, failed deliveries, and courier performance.

- By the end of the internship, the intern should be able to:
- Independently track shipment performance and highlight exceptions.
- Maintain accurate logistics trackers and reports.
- Follow up with courier partners for open issues.
- Identify recurring delay patterns or delivery issues.
- Support the team in improving delivery TAT, reducing escalations, and improving shipment visibility.

They should be eager to understand how ecommerce logistics works and should be able to manage multiple trackers, escalations, and courier coordination tasks with ownership.
