R oleThe Software Engineer will be responsible f or:

- Agile Delivery (Secure Framewo rk)Working within an established Scrum team aligned to SAFe, contributing to sprint planning, execution, and continuous improvement initiativ es.
- Distributed Team Collaborat ionCollaborating closely with onshore engineering teams to deliver features, resolve defects, and ensure seamless integration across the delivery lifecyc le.
- Application Development & Maintena nceDesigning, developing, and maintaining solutions across a multi-technology sta ck.
- Production Support & Reliabil itySupporting critical live systems, ensuring performance, resilience, and adherence to enterprise standards and contro ls.
- Continuous Improvem entContributing to engineering best practices, automation, and process enhancements to improve delivery efficiency and quali ty.

YouWe are looking for a technically strong and collaborative Software Engineer who thrives in a complex, enterprise-scale environm ent.Key requirements incl ude:• Highly experienced in Connex on HP NonStop development backgro und.• Understanding of financial industry hardware such as HSM’s HP Nonstop and related standards and security requirements including PCI and OW





ASP.• Understanding of online payment transaction process ing.• Experience of TCP/IP and communication protoc ols.• Strong knowledge of TAL, COBOL, SCOBOL and

TACL• Knowledge of HP Non-Stop protocols, security and utili ties• Strong understanding of financial industry protocols including ISO8583, ISO20022, LIS5, VISA, MasterCard or ATM message protoc ols.• Knowledge of some of GoldenGate, Electronic File Transfers, Java, UNIX, Spring, Hibernate,

XML.

- Proven development experiences a solid background as a developer across various platfo rms.
- Proven technical testing experience within Agile environments, particularly with BDD methodolog ies.
- Be comfortable with regular demonstrations to stakeholders and comfortable with pair programm ing.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary t eam.
- Excellent time management and organisational abilit ies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attit ude.
- Genuine passion for testing, development, and technology design across diverse full stack platfo rms.
- Demonstrated experience in both functional and non-functional automated test ing.

Desirable experi ence:• Hands-on automation testing expertise using open-source technologies such as Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin, Spring,

etc.
