Role Overview The Junior Mechanical Design Engineer will support the design and development of mechanical components and machinery using CAD software. The role involves creating detailed 3D models, 2D drawings, and assisting the production team to ensure smooth manufacturing and assembly.

Key Responsibilities

- Create 3D models and detailed designs of parts and assemblies using SolidWorks.

- Prepare and update 2D drawings, layouts, and BOM using AutoCAD / SolidWorks.

- Assist in machine and component design based on project requirements.

- Coordinate with production and assembly teams to resolve design-related queries.

- Prepare documentation: GA drawings, Part Lists, BOMs, and revision control.

- Ensure designs follow manufacturing feasibility (DFM) and quality standards.

- Participate in prototype building, testing, and design improvement activities.

- Support material selection and vendor coordination for bought-out items.





- Maintain deadlines and adhere to company standards and project schedules.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

- 12 years of experience in SolidWorks (mandatory).

- Basic working knowledge of AutoCAD.

- Good understanding of mechanical fundamentals, tolerances & manufacturing processes.

- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and work independently with robust problem-solving skills.

Preferred (Added Advantage)

- Exposure to GD&T;, sheet metal, machining, fabrication or automation equipment.
