What you’ll be doing

- Assist in designing new footwear silhouettes, colourways and seasonal collections
- Research trends, references, materials, colours and footwear culture
- Develop moodboards, design concepts and colour stories
- Create technical sketches, design sheets and detailed footwear specifications
- Work closely with our production and manufacturing teams to develop samples
- Review samples, identify design and construction improvements, and iterate
- Assist with material, trim, outsole and component development
- Stay closely involved through the sampling and product development process
- Help build a consistent visual and design language across future echos above collections

Qualifications





- Candidates should possess strong Technical Drawing skills and the ability to translate concepts into clear footwear sketches.
- Candidates should possess Product Design and Industrial Design skills that support functional, stylish, and manufacturable footwear concepts.
- Candidates should possess skills in creating Mood Boards and visual concept presentations that capture brand stories and design direction.
- Candidates should possess Product Development skills, including working with prototypes, materials, and fit feedback to refine designs.
- Relevant qualifications include a diploma or degree in Footwear Design, Industrial Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.
- Beneficial skills include familiarity with design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD tools), basic understanding of materials and manufacturing processes, and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work on-site in Chennai, collaborate within a team, and communicate design ideas clearly in a fast-paced, creative workplace.
- Candidates based in Chennai are preferred; however, we’re open to applications from candidates outside Chennai as well.
