Job Title: Junior AI Engineer (Voice & NLP)

Location: Bangalore, Karnataka (100% Work from Home for the first 6 months, followed by Hybrid: 2 days/week from the office)

Work Schedule: 6 Days/Week (Monday to Saturday, Sunday Holiday)

Compensation

- Probation (First 6 Months): 10,000 per month stipend
- Post-Probation: 25,000 per month base salary + 5,000 monthly performance incentive

Role Overview At AUTOSherpa, we empower automotive dealers and manufacturers with CRM solutions that enhance customer engagement. We are trusted by industry leaders like Indus Motors, Kataria Automobiles, Popular Vehicles, Kalyani Motors, Advaith Hyundai, and more.

You will work directly under the guidance of our Senior AI Architects, gaining hands-on experience with state-of-the-art voice and natural language technologies. This role is designed for a rapid learner who wants to build a strong foundation in AI by assisting with real-world data pipelines, model evaluation, and application testing.

Key Responsibilities

- Architectural Support: Assist senior engineers in testing, developing, and optimizing NLP and Voice AI solutions (including Speech-to-Text and Text-to-Speech applications).
- Data Preparation & Pipelines: Write Python scripts for data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing, with a specific focus on handling text and audio datasets.
- Model Testing & Prompting: Help run experiments, evaluate open-source LLMs, and assist with basic prompt engineering for domain-specific conversational use cases.
- Workflow Integration:



Support the team in testing and assembling components for Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and conversational AI workflows.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and accurate documentation of coding processes, experimental results, and ML workflows.
- Continuous Learning: Actively explore new ML tools, audio processing libraries, and frameworks under the mentorship of senior team members.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Programming Fundamentals: Strong foundational coding skills in Python and standard data manipulation libraries (Pandas, NumPy).
- AI/ML Basics: Academic or project-level exposure to Machine Learning concepts and deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-Learn).
- NLP & Audio Focus: Basic understanding of NLP concepts and libraries (e.g., Hugging Face, spaCy). A strong interest in audio processing (ASR, TTS, or tools like Librosa and Whisper) is required.
- Developer Tools: Familiarity with version control (Git) and basic API integrations.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

- Theoretical knowledge or project exposure to open-source LLMs (LLaMA, Falcon, etc.) or vector databases.
- Basic understanding of containerization basics (Docker).

Soft Skills
