Role Description The Junior Accessioning Officer role at Tata 1mg is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. In this role, the individual will be responsible for accurately receiving, verifying, and logging samples and test requests into the laboratory information systems, ensuring that all documentation is complete and compliant with established protocols. Day-to-day tasks include cross-checking patient details, labeling and organizing samples, coordinating with phlebotomists and laboratory staff, and resolving discrepancies in requisitions or orders.

Officer will also assist in maintaining sample integrity, adhering to quality and safety standards,



and supporting timely processing to enable reliable diagnostic reporting. Collaboration with operations, customer support, and quality teams is expected to help maintain efficient workflows and a high standard of service.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, record-keeping, and sample labeling.
- Candidates should possess basic computer literacy, familiarity with laboratory or healthcare information systems, and comfort working with digital workflows.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills for coordinating with laboratory staff, phlebotomists, and operations teams.
- Candidates should possess an understanding of basic laboratory procedures, sample handling practices, and quality and safety guidelines (prior diagnostics or healthcare experience is an advantage).
- Candidates should possess robust organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple samples, requests, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidates should possess a minimum educational background of a relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree (for example, in Medical Laboratory Technology, Life Sciences, or a related field).
- Candidates should possess a customer-focused and ethical mindset, with commitment to confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
- Candidates should possess willingness to work in shifts as required and contribute to continuous process improvement.
