We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Jewellery Merchandiser Retail Planning to drive merchandise planning, inventory optimization, product allocation, and sales performance. The ideal candidate should possess solid expertise in retail merchandising, demand forecasting, stock management, and product lifecycle planning within the jewellery, fashion, luxury, or lifestyle retail sector.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute merchandise planning strategies aligned with sales targets and business objectives.
- Analyze sales trends, customer buying patterns, and inventory movement to optimize stock availability.
- Monitor store-wise inventory levels and ensure effective product allocation and replenishment.
- Coordinate with buying, sourcing, operations, and retail teams for assortment planning.
- Prepare weekly and monthly merchandise performance reports and business insights.
- Track fast-moving, slow-moving, and non-moving inventory and recommend corrective actions.
- Drive sell-through performance and minimize stock aging across stores.
- Support new store launches through inventory planning and assortment selection.




- Forecast demand and create seasonal merchandise plans based on market trends.
- Ensure optimal product mix across categories, collections, and price points.
- Work closely with store teams to understand customer preferences and local market requirements.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and support stock audits when required.

Desired Candidate Profile
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Fashion, Retail Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or related field.
- 3 to 8 years of experience in Merchandise Planning, Retail Planning, Inventory Management, or Category Management.
- Experience in Jewellery/Accessoriepreferred
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with advanced Excel proficiency.
- Experience in sales forecasting, inventory planning, and stock optimization.
- Ability to interpret data and provide actionable business recommendations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of retail ERP systems and merchandising tools is an advantage.
