Key Responsibilities

Design and implement ServiceNow Discovery patterns, probes, sensors, and identification rules.

Configure and maintain Discovery schedules, MID Servers, and credentials.

Ensure accurate population and maintenance of the CMDB.

Develop and optimize discovery patterns for servers, network devices, cloud resources, and applications.

Troubleshoot Discovery issues and improve scan performance.

Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to capture configuration item (CI) relationships.

Support Service Mapping and other ITOM modules.

Ensure compliance with CMDB governance and data quality standards.

Prepare technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to support teams.

Required Skills

Strong experience with ServiceNow ITOM Discovery and CMDB.

Knowledge of Discovery Patterns, Probes, Sensors, and MID Server architecture.

Understanding of Windows, Linux, Network Devices, Databases, and Cloud platforms (Azure).

Experience with Service Mapping and CMDB health management.

Scripting knowledge in JavaScript and ServiceNow development best practices.

Robust troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
