ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the scheduling and execution of eWaste pickups across offices world-wide, working with vendor(s) and internal stakeholders/support teams.
- Develop medium- and long-term computer inventory management strategies aligned to rapid growth needs versus industry trends.
- Take consistent actions and initiatives to ensure optimal stocking and effective utilization of inventory.
- Conduct proactive analysis of IT asset procurement and usage trends across multiple global regions (EMEA, JAPAC, India), while coordinating with North American counterparts.
- Initiate procurement, allocation/de-allocation, decommission/reclaim of computers, and reconciliations/audits per company and country-specific rules and regulations.
- Work with stakeholder teams — Facilities, Security, AP, and OEM vendors — to ensure proper receipt and accounting of IT assets across sites.
- Coordinate with onsite staff across geographies to monitor asset supply and consumption, with proper accounting and reporting of computers, including eWaste preparation and execution.
- Develop and implement procedures for accurate day-to-day asset management tasks (allocation, reclaim, retire) for effective utilization of computer inventory.
- Ensure accurate and proactive reporting for all IT Asset Management activities, as assigned or required.
- Provide periodic executive reports to senior leadership on IT Asset Management KPIs and deliverables.
- Liaise with Finance for quarterly/half-yearly reconciliation, follow-up, and close-loop actions related to discrepancies and accounting.
- Participate in — and drive, as required — larger technical and functional initiatives and projects that impact or interface with the IT Asset Management domain.
- Maintain requisite knowledge of computer deployment and end-point management methodologies that this role interfaces with.
- Drive automation of routine Asset Management tasks (reporting, reconciliation, allocation workflows) by leveraging Enterprise AI tools, reducing manual effort and turnaround time.
- Champion AI adoption within the team — identify opportunities where AI/automation can streamline IT Asset Management operations and proactively pilot new tools and use cases.
KEY SKILLS REQUIRED

At least 5 years of onsite, hands-on IT Asset Management experience managing the full lifecycle of IT assets in a strategic capacity, preferably within a multi-national company.

Working experience with teams across geographies outside of India — especially North America and EMEA.

Preferably managed a fleet of at least 20,000 IT assets of various types across multiple geographies through their entire lifecycle, from acquisition to disposal.

Experience with at least one industry-standard Asset Management tool; ServiceNow preferred.

Superior verbal and written communication, along with solid interpersonal skills.

Excellent data processing, analysis, and reporting skills.

Well-versed in all MS Office tools, with exposure to planning tools and methodologies.

Graduate degree, preferably in IT and/or Management.

IT Asset Management certification(s) — optional but preferred.

Strong AI adoption mindset — willingness and aptitude to learn and apply Enterprise AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) to drive automation and efficiency in day-to-day Asset Management operations.
