Role Description The Inventory Specialist is a full time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This role is responsible for monitoring and maintaining accurate inventory levels, including performing regular physical stock counts and reconciling discrepancies in the warehouse management system.

The Inventory

Specialist will track incoming and outgoing goods, update inventory records, and collaborate with warehouse staff, logistics teams, and customer representatives to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Daily tasks include verifying documentation, supporting cycle counts and audits, preparing inventory reports,



and identifying process improvements to reduce shrinkage and optimize stock accuracy. The role also involves communicating clearly with internal stakeholders and providing responsive service to external customers when inventory-related queries arise.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Physical Inventory and Inventory Control, with hands-on experience conducting stock counts and reconciling differences.
- Proficiency in Inventory Management, including working with warehouse management systems or ERP tools to track and update stock levels.
- Effective Communication and Customer Service skills to coordinate with internal teams and respond to client inquiries professionally.
- Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or supply chain operations, ideally within FMCG, chemicals, pharma, or e-commerce environments.
- Good analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting.
- Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced warehouse setting in Ahmedabad, including standing, moving, and handling inventory as needed.
- Basic proficiency with spreadsheets and inventory software; familiarity with safety and compliance practices in warehouse operations.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, commerce, or a related field is preferred.
