We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Management Executive to oversee inventory planning and control across multiple warehouses. The role is responsible for ensuring optimum stock availability, maintaining inventory accuracy, planning warehouse-wise stock based on sales, and coordinating with internal teams and vendors to ensure smooth inbound and outbound operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesInventory Planning & Control
- Monitor inventory across multiple warehouses on a daily basis.
- Maintain warehouse-wise inventory based on sales velocity and target day cover.
- Ensure optimum stock levels by avoiding both stock-outs and excess inventory.
- Prepare inventory projections based on demand forecasts and sales trends.
- Coordinate stock transfers between warehouses to improve inventory utilization.
Inventory Accuracy
- Ensure accurate inventory records across all warehouse locations.
- Monitor inventory ageing, shelf life, and product expiry.
- Conduct periodic inventory audits and reconcile stock variances.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
Inbound & Outbound Logistics
- Coordinate inbound shipments with suppliers and logistics partners.
- Monitor outbound dispatches to ensure timely order fulfilment.
- Track shipment movement and resolve logistics-related issues.
- Work closely with warehouse teams to ensure efficient inventory flow.
Vendor & Packaging Material Management
- Manage relationships with logistics vendors and warehouse partners.
- Coordinate procurement and availability of packaging materials (PM).
- Monitor vendor performance, service levels, and turnaround times.
- Ensure timely replenishment of packaging materials to avoid operational delays.
Product Compliance
- Track manufacturing dates, expiry dates,
batch details, and shelf-life requirements.
- Coordinate with Quality and Operations teams to ensure compliance before dispatch.
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare daily and weekly inventory reports.
- Track inventory KPIs including:
- Days of Inventory (Day Cover)
- Inventory Accuracy
- Inventory Ageing
- Fill Rate
- Stock Availability
- Excess & Slow-Moving Inventory
- Provide recommendations to optimize inventory and reduce holding costs.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of inventory management principles.
- Experience in warehouse inventory planning across multiple locations.
- Understanding of day cover and inventory replenishment planning.
- Knowledge of inbound and outbound logistics operations.
- Experience in vendor management and packaging material planning.
- Good understanding of inventory compliance and product shelf-life management.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, dashboards, etc.).
- Experience working with ERP/WMS systems is preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Commerce, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in Inventory Management, Supply Chain, or Warehouse Operations.
- Experience managing inventory across multiple warehouse locations is preferred.

- Maintain target warehouse day cover.
- Zero stock-outs for planned inventory.
- Minimize excess and ageing inventory.
- Achieve 99%+ inventory accuracy.
- Timely completion of inbound and outbound operations.
- Compliance with product shelf-life and marketplace requirements.
- Accurate inventory reporting and forecasting.
